Hola!
I am sorry it taken so long for my monthly report. Well here it goes.
When i got off the plane i met with my family. I have a beautiful host mother, sister, and brother. So after we leave the airport i go with my sister Guada to her grandfathers birthday party. Now this is not the type of thing you want to go to when you are just arriving from about a 9 hour flight. That day was pretty fun though. That was the first time i drank
mate. Now i am addicted to it.
After the party they took Guada and I back to her house in the city. I really like living in the city. I is cool because there is always something to do. The people here inside the city can be a pain but that is like every other city. I have been going to school. The first few weeks were so boring, but now i have made friends with everyone and that feeling of being the new kid has faded a bit. It is a small school with about 150 kids so it is easy to know everyone. Right now there is two other girls from hungary but they are only on the 3 month exchange.
I met my counsulor the first week his name is Charles Fox. He is very kind and he seemed like he had a very laidback personality. He took me to my host clubs meeting to meet everyone. So far after that meeting I've been to three others but they where at houses and with the other exchange students. I am the only one here for a year right now. The only countries that they mostly exchange with here is the US and Hungary.
Right now I am on Vacation for two weeks. The father of Guada owns a small hotel in a city by the beach called San Clemente. So that is were we are sending the vacation. I just wish the winter would past especially since i am here at the beach.
Oh i think it was during my second week here i went to see The Lord of the Dance. I was great because i've always seen them on tv. ok well that is it so far. I wish all of th out bounds good luck. and you will here from me next month!
