The start of a new year and century gives us more reports, even one from a Former Student!! Read about Christmas around the world in the eyes of an Exchange Student.
Ethan is back with a report from Brazil; Shanti writes from Ecuador; Nicole gives a new address and begs for snail mail; Sherrie writes from Belgium; Sabrina from Germany, Joe and Claudia write from Japan; and Demeka writes from Germany (a girl from the Bahamas learns to SKI!!!!) and Sabrina again in Germany as well (also skiing!)
And Marja Saario from Finland (1998 - 1999 writes us - her New Year's resolution!!!

Marie writes about New Year's Eve in Austria Sabrina is REALLY good at her reports! She too writes about New Year's and winter in Germany. Neil is flushed with excitement about his time in Sweden! Claudia in Japan and Sherrie in Austria are worlds apart, but share the same bitter-sweet feelings about changing families. Marie returns, writing about the political turmoil in Austria. Ever had a demonstration and no one showed up???
March, 2000
ETHAN in Brazil shows up again and tells about his trip and writes some more poetry. And still in Japan, and still with his opinions of the world, is Joe, or Mr. Joe as he would prefer. Sabrina reports in about having a lot of fun (gee, that's different!) Will wonders never cease?? Neil reappears from Svierge! And Claudia reports that Joe will vesit her in Monbetsu. Will the town survive?? Another former Inbound heard from - Eeva from Finland writes to all.
Nicole Abbott in Belgium writes of her adventures since the beginning of the year. And marie in Austria writes again! AND she and her host sister Claudia Bottig (an Inbound to District 6990 last year) and now CHEERLEADERS for the Baden Austria American Football Club!!

The exchange year is nearing an end, and the messages now speak of not wanting to come home! Sabrina writes about her tour of Europe. Shanti speaks Spanish now! And even MORE reports (love reports!!! :-) ) Finally a LOOOOOOOOONG letter from Qi Li - so long it required two pages!! So here is page 1 and here is page 2.
