I hope you are doing great! I could not write to you sooner due to the fact that I changed host families and had one week off from school. My new host family is very nice. They are really making me feel welcomed in their home. I have two younger sisters and a younger brother. My host sister Yuko will be the next exchange student from Monbetsu hosted by District 6990. She is a bit shy and a little nervous about going, but I always tell her that everything will be okay and that she will have a great time. I have not done much within the last month. It is starting to get a bit warmer here. The icebergs have drifted off, but it still snows. Wednesday and Thursday of this week I went to the city of Furano to visit the exchange student that lives there. We had a great time together. We went to the movies, ate lots of McDonald's, and talked really fast in English (all of these things I have not done within the past month and a half). Joe Jones and I are planning on meeting up at the end of March. He will come to Monbetsu for a week and then I will go to Osaka for a week. I am really looking forward to seeing him and talking to him in person. Well, I have to go now. Give my regards to everyone at the Davie Rotary Club. Take care!
