Well, I hope I'm not way too late from the Wise Old Guys Forum. First I thought I have nothing new to say, then I realised I had completely forgotten the things I said earlier, so here I go:

When I was to go home Bob really scared me with the phrase "You'll loose a lot of your friends, you don't believe it, but you
will.". Well I didn't believe it. I found out the Zoo Keeper was right. But not in the way I imagined (calling on the phone and
getting a respose: Oh, but you aren't my friend any more!). Instead you "filter" your friends, I'm still in touch with the ones that were really important to me, and I have lost lots of buddies, who were cool to be with, but not more.

The other thing I had found unbelievable is that I won't keep in touch with the other exchanges I shared my year with. I still
can't imagine why it has to be this way, but it is. Maybe it's an exchange student curse, please break this curse and keep in
touch!

      Your known or unknown friend
