Wie geht's? Mir geht es gut. Well let me start with my month of December. It was pretty interesting.
The 2nd week I went to the Czech rebublic to go skiing. It was great. I went with a group from school. Well It was actually to learn how to ski and I did learn how to. There was a lot of snow and everything was white. It was very beautiful. I take alot of pictures. I also met some kids from the czech republic.
Well for Christmas we had a big dinner and then went to church. This was on the 24th of december, here it is christmas at that time. Well on
the afternoon we had tea and then opened our presents at night. I got a watch, towel that said SAUNA on it, earrings, a calender, and tons of chocolate. It was great. We then relaxed and watched TV.
Well the next day we went to a concert . It was the christmas present from my host mother to all the family. It was a classical concert and was 2 and a half hours long. I think that it was the longest concert that I have ever been to. It was beautiful though. Then we went
back home and had dinner with the grand parents. We had fish the French way. It tasted so good. My host mother said that it is a special dish for the 25th of December..
Well the next day We had the other family from my mother's side at the house and had dinner and had a special guest and she was a story teller. It was great. We were celebrating the birthday of my host mother's mom. Well then On the weekend we went to Bautzen and stayed with the grand parents and the grand father taught me some little things about music
and of course German. My German is doing great. I can understand everything that people tell me and i can speak to them and they actually understand me. I think that it is great.
Well for New year's eve I was with some friends in Pesterwitz and we had a party with music and games. One of my friends made American
hamburgers. Well at 12:00 we went to a hill and lighted fireworks and I saw dresden from afar. It was great. The fire works were very loud though. One of my friends had a friework explode in her hand. It was
great though. I took pictures of my friends and the event. It was hard to believe that I celebrated New Year's before my family in florida. The The next day I went to my friends house and had breakfast there and
slept for the whole day. Then late at night I went back home. Then it was time to go back to school. It was a great month of December and I had lots of fun.
