Wie geht es ihnen?  Mir geht es gut.  Here in Germany it is very windy and raining.  The weather changes very often.  First it was snowing, windy, sunny, and then raining.  I love it when the sun is out because it reminds me of Florida.

Well this month was great.  For New Years which is in German ''Silvester'', was really great.  I was in Pesterwitz
with a group of friends and and we lit up a lot of fireworks.  They were very, very loud.  I never heard such loud fireworks.  After the fireworks we went to a hill and waited for midnight.  We got a great view of Dresden, Altstadt.  Altstadt is old town in english. Pesterwitz is a town about 5 kilometers away from Freital, where I live.  It was great.  I took some pictures.  They didn't come out like I expected.  Well there was a lot of drinking and smoking but by now I am used to that.  We came back to the church room that we were in and sang some songs then played some games.   Then we played the guitar.  It was great.  One of my friends made American hamburgers and they tasted great.  We slept there and then left home at 10 am.  I went straight to bed when I got home.

This month has been pretty much practicing my German and school.  I haven:t done much this month, but it was nice.  It snowed a lot so we couldn't go out much.  I stayed inside most of the time.  One of my friends took me to
her dancing class and I met a lot of people there.  It was interesting to how they learned how to dance.  I went to an English church service last Sunday and met a lot of people from Whales, UK, and the US.  It was a great thing to just hear english the whole day.

Well I can understand pretty much of the lections in school, but sometimes it is very difficult for me.  I have a problem with some of the kids at my school.   They all want to learn english so they talk to me in english.  Well I hang around people who can't speak english at all and my friends that are nice enough to only speak german with me. I am starting to forget how to write in english and how to speak.  Sometimes I speak english the german way and i get so confused, especially when I talk to my mom.

On thing I don't like is that it gets dark so early and you don't get to enjoy the sun for very long.  I can't wait for spring and summer.  I love the snow, but it's only great to look at but not to be outside all day long.   Most of this month we have been riding the ponies.  When it was snowing I got to ride the sleigh with the pony.  It was very challenging to control the pony, but lots of fun.  I was in a party a few days ago and it was absolutely different.  I learned how to blow in this big horn that people in Australia have.

Well February I will be in Bautzen for one week and the next week I will be over my friends house and we will
go to Dresden.  I am involved in the choir here and also I am in the Talent show that will take place on
Wednesday.  I will be singing and there is a piano player, and two saxophone players.  I am singing ''Killing me Softly.''

I hope everything in Florida is good.

Greetings to all from Germany.

Love,
Sabrina
