A letter from the Wolfman, in the Army!
November, 1999

this is another update about what up with me.  Lot's of things have changed
since the last mail and I wasn't doing too well.

On Oktober 1st Patricia broke up with me after we 2 1/2 months of problems in our relationship.  All seemed as if things would improve and so I was kinda down for the last couple of weeks.  This weekend was the first that I had a little fun, but I guess it will take some more time for me to recover and gain a little self-confidence concerning girls.  It was the finest thing to leave the base at the weekends but at home there was just a huge emptiness and once I hit Emmerich I felt that that's not my home again.  I'm still homesick for Florida very often.

Another reason for this point was, that I have a big fight with my parents who think that they can throw my clothes away, kinda ripped pants that I use for the festivals and tell me things like 'as long as you live here . . .':  I didn't even spend theoretical 48 hours a week at home so what about this argument.

On November 2nd I was transfered from boot camp to my final unit, the German-Dutch Corps in Muenster, where live is much easier.  We have some more training and exercise till Wednesday and then I will be send to the corps staff: sitting infront of a computer and in a warm office.  End of the month we'll be on manoevers for about 8-9 days which will be almost as hard a boot camp.  And since we are instructed for guarding the base I might have to be on duty on January 1st, 2000 for some 24 hours - chances are 1:20!!  Even worse that being on duty during Christmas.  Last week we spend in a training camp cut off from the world somewhere in central Germany.

That's pretty much for the moment.  My new address is:

       Jg.  SERWATY, Wolf
FuUstgKp (GE) Stab I. (D/NL) Korps
       Bluecher Kaserne
       Einsteinstr. 40-44
       48149 Muenster

Some of you didn't write in a long time.  I feel sorry for not being able to answer email during the week, but that should not be a reason for cutting off the connection!  So I'd be happy to get some response.

Take care and be good.  Love and stuff and greetings from Pascal for those who
know him.

Wolf.
